About Kathryn

Kathryn qualified with an Honours Bachelors (BSc) degree in Psychology from Queen's University
Belfast in 2014. Kathryn then went on to pursue a Master’s Degree (MSc) in Applied Psychology,
Mental Health and Psychological Therapies from Ulster University in 2014.

 

Kathryn also received a post graduate certificate in Family Therapy and Systemic Practice (Accredited by the association of Family Therapy). In 2016, Kathryn enhanced her knowledge further by completing the Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy at Queen's University Belfast. Kathryn is an fully accredited member of the BABCP (British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies) and has her own professional indemnity insurance in order to practice.

 

Kathryn has developed a vast array of experience in voluntary, charity, community, public and private mental health settings. Kathryn has worked in the clinic. home, school and community environments.

 

Kathryn also provides training to professionals addressing child and adolescent emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties. Kathryn has a strong passion for mental health promotion and believes early interventions can help everyone reduce and become less susceptible to Mental Illness.
